IST 526 Final Project
My final project for this class is the completion of an e-Learning module, providing sufficient user/computer interaction and multimedia, contextual feedback, branching for remedial learning, and electronic assessment of user's success.
This e-Learning module covers three topics of study for the California Driver's test in Spanish, which is representative of what the rest of the course will look like.
The design is custom-made with my own color palette, which includes variations of teal, and reds for words and highlights. There was special attention to image location and placement.
The module includes branching, interaction with a text box, immediate feedback, original images and editing, original text/translation, animation, assessment, and a certificate of completion.
Putting together the material and the translation was half of the project, and I would say the other half was the Adobe Captivate programming part, which was a significant learning curve, and required additional time studying and coaching with a tutor. I enjoy learning about what Captivate can do, and intend to become an advanced user.
