Hardware:
Dell Inspiron 660
Intel Core i53330 CPU 3.00GHz
8.00 RAM
64-bit Operating System
Software:
Windows 7, Photoshop, Captivate, Powerpoint, WinSCP, and Weebly
The images used were edited in Photoshop. I incorporated the Gestalt principle of continuity and contrast into my capstone subject matter. After selecting the appropriate topics/images, I tried a few options in Photoshop until I realized that I needed to separate the people from the road in different image files and upload them to Captivate for the animation. I used the stamp tool to modify the background and cut out the two people walking to float them on the screen in Captivate.
The first three slides were done on Power Point. Then they were imported into Captivate and the video tutorials were created. The second section was completed in Captivate 7. Images were used from referenced online sources and edited in Photoshop, and the animations completed in Captivate 7.
