Project: Create an instructional video utilizing audiovisual tools.
This instructional video offers a lesson in Spanish of how to use the turn signals. The video is intended to be viewed by Spanish speaking people who are looking to obtain their driver's license.
This video was made with a combination of slides, graphics, and video, utilizing a Samsung Galaxy Note 1. Graphics were manipulated using Photoshop. Narration was added as well as transitional effects utilizing Windows Live Movie Maker. The video recording was done locally.
Constructivism is one of the learning theories utilized in this training module. The learner builds on existing knowledge of how to drive an automobile. We also use Bandura's Social-Cognitive theory by utilizing visual demonstrations of how to perform the various turn signal actions.
Through modeling, this module crosses cultural boundaries by being presented in English and Spanish.
